      Fall 2003, Biology401: Assignment #4 - What Is Physiological Ecology?

      Task: Read a set of essays on various views of physiological ecology, be prepared to present the point of view of the physiological ecologist that you were assigned, discuss your P.O.V. with others, and hand in answers to the questions below on Monday (no email reply is required).

      Assessment:

      • +10 points if completed by Monday 8 September 2003,

      Detailed Instructions:

      1. Download and read the set of essays on various views of physiological ecology posted here, especially with a close read of the essay by the person to whom you were assigned.
      2. Go to Google.com and put in the name of the author to whom you were assigned to research this person's previous research and teaching background and current projects. NOTE: DO NOT PRINT OUT ANYTHING FROM THE INTERNET - INSTEAD, SAVE THINGS TO A DISK and take notes on the worksheet page below.
      3. Print out the worksheet file posted here, and answer the questions directly on the page.
      4. Be prepared to compare and contrast the views of your author with the views of others during Monday's class.
