Tropical Annonaceae:

I am collaborating with Lars Chatrou, Ph.D. (Wageningen University, Netherlands) and M.Sc. candidate Jeike van de Poel in a study dealing with niche evolution in several species of Annonaceae in Costa Rica. After learning field scent collection techniques in my lab, Jeike spent several weeks at field sites in Costa Rica, collecting floral scents and other data for a number of species of Annonaceae. This project is ongoing.

In addition to this M.Sc. project, I plan to continue collaboration with Lars Chatrou, studying additional Annonaceae species accessible at Widener-affiliated field sites in Costa Rica and Peru.

Students interested in potential research projects in the Goodrich lab
If you are a biology major at Widener and you are interested in learning more about potential research projects in my lab, please contact me via e-mail (kgoodrich@mail.widener.edu) or stop by my office during office hours. My office hours may change each semester, but my schedule will always be posted outside my office door (Kirkbride Hall 423 C).
