![]() | Over spring break 2002, Dr. Jean Godsall-Myers, Associate Professor of German, was accompanied by three Widener German students to Germany where they visited points of interest in Berlin, Leipzig, and Dresden. The trip was intended as a study tour and included many diverse areas of German life. The group stayed in small towns and large cities, met families and individuals, traveled from West to East, saw history in museums and buildings, and overall experienced the multicultural German of today. In each stop, the group had contacts who helped them see the local view as insiders. Dr. Godsall-Myers is already planning the next spring trip, which will have a community service project built into it. Interested participants should contact Professor Godsall-Myers at jean.e.godsall-myers@widener.edu. |
