Widener in Mexico 2001
Intensive Language and Culture Study

 

Three students from Widener University, Jessica Fuller, Kim Golden, and Cristina Strickland, traveled with Professor Paul Goldberg to Mexico where they spent four weeks in Cuernavaca during August, 2001.

Students were
 enrolled in the Cuauhnáhuac Language Institute where they received six hours of intensive language and culture study.

 

 

As part of the program, students took several excursions to points of interest
in Central Mexico including Mexico City, Teotihuacan, and Taxco.

 

Students also had the opportunity to do volunteer service
with young, disadvantaged Mexican children
