I think I got very lucky with the CCD chip in my C-2100, at ISO 100 and an exposure of 16 seconds (room temp around 74°F) I have only a couple of hot pixels.  Here is a shot taken out the window at night, 16 sec, F2.8, ISO 100, FL 39 mm, manual focus at infinity, this is straight out of the camera.
