The science administration major is for the student who is interested in the sciences, but does not want to follow along traditional career lines. It combines a broad background in the basic sciences with advanced study in one or two science disciplines. Course work is also required in the fields of accounting, economics, and management. The graduate is thus prepared for an administrative position in a research organization, medical facility, environmental company, or other industries combining the fields of science and business.
