Newly
renovated general chemistry laboratory. Designed with 16 student stations, one ADA student
station, 2 students per hood, 4 networked computers, digital pan balances, analytical balances,
chemical storage, ten solid state Spectronic 20 spectrophotometers, TI CBL data acquisition
systems, and discussion/conference area.

renovated organic chemistry laboratory. Designed with 16 student stations, one ADA student
station, 2 students per hood, centrifuge, and discussion/conference area.
- Newly renovated undergraduate research laboratory. Includes 2 hoods, refrigerator, freezer,
two rotary evaporators, and dishwasher.

Temperature
controlled instrument room. High Resolution 300 MHz QE-300 NMR with Tecmag data system, Finnigan
4000 GC/MS with Tecnivent data system and HP 5890 GC, 1 hood, science server.

room. Chromatography and spectroscopy instrumentation (Gradient HPLC, 2 HP 5890 GCs with FID
detector, Nicolet Avatar FTIR, HP 8450 Diode array UV/VIS, Dionex DX-100 Ion chromatograph,
Chromperfect chromatography data acquisition software.

lab. Designed for small upper division courses. Includes 6 hoods, analytical balances, Fisher
Automatic titration system, digital and analog pH meters and networked computers.

Physical
chemistry lab. Designed for small upper division courses. Includes a hood, analytical balances,
electrochemistry instrumentation, Parr Solution Calorimeter, Parr Bomb Calorimeter, and centrifuge.

Computer
lab. 12 Windows 2000 computers with Zip drive, CD-RW, internet access and high speed duplex
printer. Used for classes, labs, and open student use.

- QE-300 300 MHz FTNMR with Tecmag Data system and 5mm Dual probe for 1H and 13C experiments.
Used for 1D proton, 1D carbon, DEPT, COSY, HETCOR, and TIIR experiments.
